D.O.: a wine from the region of Castilla y Leon
Production: 3,912 bottles. of 0.75 litres
Alcoholic content: 15%
Variety: 100% Tempranillo from the Valley of Duero.
Harvesting and processing: The grapes are harvested from September 10th to October 3rd , with yields between 20-25 hl/ha. The age of the vineyard runs between 30 and 60 years. Maceration time of 15 days with dialy pumping and punching.
Aging: 30 months in new French and American oak. No fining or filtering. Bottled in March 2012.
Sensory Tasting: Intense and exotic scent, very direct, with aromas of macerated fruit, cocoa and a balsamic background. Well armed and broad flow in the mouth, and highlights its refined tannins. A gem for drinking or saving.
Serving temperature: Between 14 and 16 ° C. Store the wine in a cool place without sudden changes in temperature.
This wine not having been filtered or clarified can have some deposits, it is convenient to have it decanted.
